Bio
I'm a social worker that actually believes in the inherent power of social work and people. I am a married, twenty-something, emotional, empathetic, cat-mom, student. My husband and I were married 10-13-07 and we're still just as happy as we were the day we were married, despite the many trying times we've both been through. I am an empath... and I mean that in every sense of the word. I like to think of my self as a wannabe-Buddhist, I try my best to be a good Buddhist but I am still working on it... it's a process. I believe in the interconnectedness of life and people. I believe in cyclical time, not linear. I am extremely emotional (it comes with the empathy). I am an extremely loyal friend. I am, unfortunately, obsessed with politics and current events. My family (husband and cat-child) and extremely important to me. Sometimes I waste too much of myself on worrying; other times I just let things go. I'm working on finding a balance.
All in all: I'm a pretty happy person.
